Location shots

We decided that this type of location would be perfect for starting off our title sequence, the loneliness and isolation of the scenery is obvious even within the shots and so we felt that we could use this idea of isolation to maximize the suspense the audience feel when they realize that the young girl and the killer are alone and no one else is round.

We then moved to another isolated area, but the only difference was the fact that we began with a large and open space. This space gives a very closed off and almost compact feel due to all of the trees and sticks that are surrounding the area, creating an enigma code for the audience as they are unsure on whether the young girl will be able to escape the killer or not.

We then decided to use a particularly large tree within the title sequence, we decided that having the young girl hidden behind a large tree would act as an enigma code to the audience as they would begin to think that she had managed to hide and escape from the killer. However this is not actually the case which is seen when the killer places his hands on the young girls shoulders.
